Summary
It’s modern day Tokyo and debauchery populates every street corner. One inhabitant in this city is Little Red Riding Hood, a gun wielding eleven-year-old child. Her only desire is to find Mr. Wolf and be eaten by him. Not an easy task, since nearly every person she meets wants to eat her, but Little Red Riding Hood happens to take things in stride.
Review
This is, more or less, the sickest manga I’ve read in a long time. I know a lot of people have taken the initiative to make this old fairy tale something a little out of the ordinary, but I seriously never expected something as … wrong as this.
The first chapter is Little Red Riding Hood herself having a grand old time with some disgusting pervert. Eventually, she finds out that he isn’t her Mr. Wolf and blows his brains out. Little Red’s sole desire in life is to find Mr. Wolf and be eaten by him. Like, seriously eaten. Like, chomp chomp. Seems to me that’s the only thing that can get this child content.
So if you aren’t squeamish then go ahead, read the manga. The grotesque amount loli and gore pretty much freaked me out, but I can live with it.
But really, there’s a lot of appeal. I, no matter how wrong it was, read more chapters. Even the constant appearance of guts didn’t stop me. The fight scenes are pretty cool. Anyway, even if there is alot of sex and way too much violence, this series is actually pretty fun.
But that’s really all it’s getting from me. I can’t find any other reason to like it except that it’s really interesting with how it progresses.
So, I think I’d rate it a 7/10. :)
Spent nearly the whole day reading as much Death Note as I could. My eyes started hurting, head started aching, and stomach continously growling. Plus, I ended up getting hiccups, too.
Goshdarnit.
Still. Death Note is just so so so so so sooooo much fun. I can’t stop fangirling over L/Misa. I really have no idea what attracts me to the couple. Maybe it’s their stark differences; Misa’s so active and L’s just… blah, etc. Well, whatever the case, it pushed me into looking all over the web for good fanart of them. Found a few good ones, too, especially those made by a certain artist (also made HDoujins of Misa, actually).
Oh, and I’m not particularly fond of Raito/Light. That guy bothers me. Alot.
AH. AH. AHHHH. So much luuuv.
